Especially when there is not a big bad evil dinosaur this movie focusses on, like there was in the other jurassic world movies (indominus rex and indoraptor). The CGI on the dinosaurs was really well done and the action scenes are a thrill to watch! But it does feel like, after five movies, the 'magic' of seeing these dinosaurs on screen is a bit gone. The main attraction is, of course, the dinosaurs. The plot in short was not too good, there were a lot of 'but why?' moments, but then who really goes to a jurassic park/world movie for the amazing plot. There were multiple times this movie where it felt like it was nabbed straight from the original jurassic park, which felt more like lazy writing which did not really do the movie any good. It was amazing seeing the original cast come back to this film, but it felt like some other things returned from the original jurassic park.
The movie has some good points but is also underwhelming in a lot of others.
